Two main varieties: (1) Damask Rose (Rosa damascena) — for tea, perfumery, cosmetics; (2) Sindhi Desi Rose — for traditional gulkand, gulqand, and ittar. Both available as whole buds, loose petals, powder, and tea blends.

What is the minimum order for dried roses?

500 kg minimum order (mixed varieties allowed). Container loads 5-10 MT preferred for ocean freight. Smaller orders via air freight available at premium.

How are dried roses packaged?

Standard: 25 kg corrugated cartons with food-grade poly liners, palletized 16 cartons (400kg) per pallet. Custom vacuum-sealed retail packs (50g-500g) on 1,000 kg MOQ.

What certifications come with rose exports?

ISO 22000 food safety, HACCP plan, organic certification (NOP, EU, JAS) available, Pakistan Phytosanitary, Halal certificate, MSDS for cosmetic-grade, Certificate of Analysis (residue testing).

How long do dried roses stay fresh?

When stored cool (15-20°C), dry (<10% moisture), and dark, dried rose petals and buds maintain color and aroma for 18-24 months. Vacuum-packed extends to 36 months.

Are Kohenoor roses pesticide-free?

Conventional grade: max residue limits per EU/Codex. Organic grade: zero pesticide residue, certified by IMO/ECOCERT/CCPB. Lab analysis (Eurofins/SGS) on request.

Can Kohenoor process custom rose blends?

Yes. Custom blends (rose + green tea, rose + chamomile, rose + cardamom) on 100 kg minimum. Private-label retail packaging on 1,000 kg minimum.

Where are Kohenoor roses sourced?

Pakistani Punjab (Lahore-Kasur belt) for Damask roses, harvested April-June. Sindhi Desi roses from Sindh province, harvested March-May. Cultivation altitude 200-800m for optimum fragrance compounds.
